The Blue Mountains Ukulele Club is a bunch of great people who meet to play ukulele together. Heard of The Blue MUGs? That's us. This is our space to share music, get organised and plan performances.

Join us for a jam on the 3rd Friday night of every month in Springwood, or get to the workshops on the 2nd, 4th and 5th Wednesday nights in Lawson. Or for an all in blast - roll up for Ukes in the Pub every 1st Saturday at the Australian Arms Hotel in Penrith. Interested? Register here :-)

Well you asked for it. The Ukulele JAMboree is back for 2015! Another weekend of ukulele jamming in the foothills of the beautiful Barrington Tops World Heritage Area on the weekend of the 13th, 14th and 15th of November 2015.....

How to learn how to play better?

Ok I've been playing a few months now and feel like I've hit a brick wall and not progressing as rapidly as I'd like.  Is there anyone who can give me a one on one or small group lesson upper mountains?  I am keen to learn how to pluck and learn harder chords as well as other strum patterns.  Perhaps being self thought I may be hindering myself. I am in Blackheath, mum of 8 month old so will need lessons more local.  Would love if someone would give up their time to  perhaps meet once a…
